Donna C. Scripture -- Kasson

KASSON -- There was a graveside memorial service for family at the Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center for Donna C. Scripture, with the Rev. Jim Filbeck officiating.

Mrs. Scripture, 81, of Kasson, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island, after a brief illness. Born Oct. 9, 1927, in Kasson, Donna (Stark) Scripture lived in southeastern Minnesota all her life. On July 4, 1946, she married Willard W. Scripture. She was a homemaker whose greatest love was her family.

She is survived by a son, Jim (Lois) Scripture of Pine Island; a daughter, Linda (Richard) Nelson of Billings, Mont.; five grandchildren, David Scripture, Anne Daly, and Charlie, Todd and Katie Nelson; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Douglas Stark of Denver, Colo., and Jerry Stark of Austin. Her husband and a sister preceded her in death. Memorials are suggested to a charity of choice.
